Prince Harry joins Queen at third royal wedding in Windsor this year
The new father has left Meghan and Archie for the wedding of his cousin.
It’s time to dust off your fascinator and put on your bow tie once again for the third royal wedding at Windsor Castle in just 12 months.
Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of the Queen’s cousin Prince Michael of Kent, is marrying fiance Tom Kingston at St George’s Chapel this afternoon.
Kick-starting the arrivals was new father Prince Harry, who arrived at the wedding with his uncle Prince Edward, aunt Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence.
Prince Andrew closely followed with his ex-wife Sarah, the Duchess of York, and their daughter Princess Beatrice.
The Princess was accompanied by her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, an entrepreneur.
Lady Sophie Windsor, wife of Lord Frederick Windsor, Gabriella’s brother, and half-sister of Claudia Winkleman, was seen chatting to Prince Harry as they walked to the wedding.
The Queen arrived just a few minutes ahead of the bride with the Duke of Edinburgh, who is making a rare public appearance by attending the nuptials.
Prince Philip appeared to be in good spirits as he joked with the Right Reverend David Conner, who was waiting to greet the monarch.
Dressed in a pink A-line coat and a lilac and pink silk dress by Stewart Parvin, the Queen finished her striking outfit with a matching hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan.
Pippa Middleton and husband James Matthews were also spotted strolling hand in hand as they joined other guests.
They were closely followed by Pippa and Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
The wedding is the third ceremony to take place at Windsor Castle in less than a year.
Meghan and Harry tied the knot on May 19 2018, while Princess Eugenie married husband Jack Brooksbank on October 12.
