Man cleared of sending ‘grossly offensive’ Grenfell Tower bonfire video
He told the court the figures in the model were of his friends and not victims of the tragedy.
A man accused of filming a cardboard effigy of Grenfell Tower burning on a bonfire has been cleared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
Paul Bussetti, 47, from South Norwood, south-east London, was charged with sending a ‘grossly offensive’ video on WhatsApp under the 2003 Communications Act.
Earlier in court today he claimed the figures in the model portrayed his friends and not the victims of the 2017 blaze which killed 72 people.
