Flock of seagulls have a great time playing with massive dildo

'Remember, what ends up in the ocean, ends up in the mouths of wildlife.'

A wildlife conservation photographer visited a closed beach to snap birthing seals but ended up documenting some seagulls playing with a dildo.

Jennifer Leigh Warner captured the ‘funniest plastic pollution story ever’ when she noticed the seabirds playing with the sex toy.

The 35-year-old said the birds kept playing with the dildo for several minutes, flying above the La Jolla beach in California until one of them eventually flew off with it.

She said: ‘There were about a dozen juvenile Western gulls playing with the plastic pollution fake penis.

‘They were tossing it to one another, playing keep away and then flying around the beach with it.

‘I could tell that what they had wasn’t food and when I got a closer look I realised what it was.

‘The beach is currently closed for harbour seal pupping season.

‘Because the beach is closed, many of the birds enjoy spending time on it since they don’t have to deal with human disturbance.’

Jennifer promptly posted the photos on social media, along with the caption: ‘I have to share the funniest plastic pollution story I have ever seen.

‘All I have to say is, remember, what ends up in the ocean, ends up in the mouths of wildlife.’
