Cabbie rejected by army because of 6-inch penis tattooed on his leg

A cab driver was turned down by the army because he has a penis tattooed on his leg.
Kevin Price, 28, says he was ‘eight pints deep’ when he agreed to having the six-inch manhood inked on his thigh at a mate’s house following a night at the pub.
It has now scuppered his chances of joining the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, who said it was ‘offensive and ineligible under current policy’.
The dad-of-three, from Hartlepool, insists he doesn’t regret the tattoo and branded the refusal ‘a bit of a joke’, adding: ‘I’m not exactly going to run around in just my boxers am I?’
Kevin got the tattoo back in 2018 and initially kept it hidden from girlfriend Kimberley for three months because she was pregnant and he didn’t want to upset her.
He added: ‘We were about eight pints deep when my friend mentioned he had a tattoo gun back at his. Then I got dared to get a penis on my leg so we walked to his to get it done. My mate did it when he was drunk.
‘I tried to hide it from my girlfriend as she was pregnant at the time and I didn’t want to cause any stress.
‘When I finally showed her she was surprised at how big it was. My mam went mad when she found out.’
He applied to the armed forces in January this year and ‘passed the online medical and the phone medical’.
Kevin explained: ‘One of the last steps was to send a picture of the tattoos. I have a sleeve on my arm so I sent them over that.
‘Then I thought I better be honest and send them over the one on my leg. Next thing I know I’ve been told I can’t join.’
In their rejection letter sent last week, the army told him that ‘your tattoo is deemed offensive and therefore deems you ineligible under current policy’.
Kevin will stick to working as a taxi driver.
He said of the tattoo: ‘I don’t regret it at all I think it’s funny.
‘When I was wearing shorts in Prague last year I even had Chinese and American tourists come up and take a picture. There must have been about 100.
‘It puts a smile on people’s faces. I don’t regret it at all, although I am gutted about the army.’
