Scotland imposed a strict ban on the sale of alcohol in pubs before and after a set curfew to combat the rising cases of Covid.
Though the initial 16-day restrictions were set to come to a close tomorrow, Monday, October 26, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced this would be extended to November 2, to allow the country to transition their new five-tier system more smoothly.
So, with hospitality venues not fully reopening for another week, where can you buy alcohol in Scotland and when?

Across Scotland, alcohol can still be sold between the hours of 10am and 10pm in supermarkets.
However, where you can buy alcohol outside of the supermarket depends on whereabouts in Scotland you are.
Since Friday, October 16, the central belt – which applies to Greater Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Arran, Forth Valley, and Lothian – has seen all pubs and bars closed.
They will be able to continue to operate as takeaways, similar to the rules imposed in March.
You cannot drink alcohol outside, though.
Across the rest of Scotland, all pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes are open but have been prohibited from selling alcohol between 6am to 6pm.
They have only been allowed to serve food and non-alcoholic drinks but they can continue serving alcohol outdoors to the current 10pm curfew.
Restaurants and cafes can offer a takeaway or delivery service but cannot sell alcohol between 10am and 10pm.
However, life events, such as weddings and funerals, can continue to serve alcohol with the 20-person limit in regulated premises.
