William makes first appearance after mystery no show
The Prince of Wales was meant to attend the memorial service for his late god-father but pulled out at the last minute.
Prince William has finally made an appearance after mysteriously cancelling an event last week due to ‘personal reasons’.
The Prince of Wales visited the Western Marble Arch Synagogue in central London and spoke to ambassadors and holocaust survivors.
He was meant to attend the memorial service for his late god-father King Constantine last week and was even due to give a reading.
But he called the Greek royal family at the last minute letting them know he was unable to attend.
Kensington Palace would not elaborate further on why he could not attend.
Karen Pollock CBE, Chief Executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust: ‘Today His Royal Highness reminded us that antisemitism is not only a problem for the Jewish community but for all society.

But in a rare update on his wife Kate Middleton said she continues to be doing well after having abdominal surgery on January 16.
She has not been seen in public since Christmas, when she joined other members of the royal family for the annual walk to Sandringham Church.
She is not expected to return to official duties until after Easter, and her husband temporarily stepped back from his royal role to juggle caring for her and their children.
This has left Buckingham Palace scrambling to find others to take their place as the King continues to undergo cancer treatment.
Prince Andrew led royals into the memorial service, including his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York, Princess Beatrice, and Zara and Mike Tindall.
In another blow to the royal family, Lady Gabriella Windsor’s husband Thomas Kingston was found dead inside his parents’ home in Gloucestershire on Sunday.
An inquest will be held to establish the cause of death, but there are no suspicious circumstances and no other parties involved.
Mr Kingston, known as Tom, and his wife Lady Gabriella Windsor, daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, were ‘happy and chatty’ at an event days before his death, friends have said.
The King and Queen sent their ‘most heartfelt thoughts and prayers’ to Lady Gabriella, who is known as Ella, and Mr Kingston’s parents and siblings.
Meanwhile Prince Harry has announced will appeal against a High Court ruling dismissing his challenge over a change to his level of security during visits to the UK.
He had been trying to overturn a ruling which saw his security downgraded and have his police protection taken away after he stopped being a working royal.
