President Buhari gets ready for one more crucial foreign trip

President Muhammadu Buhari will Tuesday, October 24, depart Nigeria for Niamey, Republic of Niger, to participate in a meeting on common currency for the West African sub-region.
This was announced in a statement by Femi Adesina, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity.

Member countries of the ECOWAS Task Force on Common Currency are Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana and Niger.
The minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Godwin Emefiele, will also join the president at the meeting.
President Buhari will return to Abuja same day after the meeting.

After a successful four-day working visit to Ankara and Istanbul in Turkey, Buhari on Sunday, October 22, returned to Abuja.
Buhari, accompanied by his wife, Aisha, was received at the airport by senior government officials, including his chief of staff, Abba Kyari; Inspector-General of Police, Idris Ibrahim; minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Mohammad Bello and other presidential aides.
