2019 elections: Ex-Senate President, Ken Nnamani reveals what APC must do to win

Former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani, revealed that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) needs to maintain internal decorum if it intends to win the 2019 general elections, Daily Trust reports.
NAIJ.com gathered that Nnamani stated this on Saturday, January 20 in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital during the commissioning of South West Zonal office of Muhammadu Buhari\Osinbajo (MBO) Dynamic Support Group.

Those present present at the launch include the Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, his health counterpart, Isaac Adewole, former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu and some members of the ruling APC.
Governor Abiola Ajimobi, other South-West governors, the leadership of APC in the region and members of the executive council of the state were absent at the event.
Shittu in his speech noted that what Buhari has done in two and half years, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was not able to do it in 16 years, adding that the president has created jobs for over 200,000 people in Nigeria.
Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, the former governor of Abia state, warned that the lingering rift between Oyo State governor and the minister of communication may spell doom for the APC in the state during the 2019 general elections if the party’s national body fails to broker peace.

Earlier, NAIJ.com reported that the South-west office of the President Muhammadu Buhari 2019 Campaign Organisation on Monday August 7, 2017, inaugurated by some of the President’s supporters from the geopolitical zone and other parts of the country.
Punch reports that those who were present at the inauguration included a former Nigeria Ambassador to Qatar, Dr. Bawa Abdulahi, a member of the organisation’s Board of Trustees, Isaka Hassan, the group’s acting Deputy National Coordinator, Daniel Omofeso, the acting National Secretary, Deaconess Rita Solari Inko-Tariah, and others.
The group also appointed coordinators for the six states in the zone.
