NYSP: Queensbury man pretended to be massage therapist
A Queensbury man was arrested on Saturday and is accused of offering massage therapy services without a license. Tieli Wang, 54, faces multiple charges.
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Queensbury man was arrested on Saturday and is accused of offering massage therapy services without a license and inappropriately touching victims. Tieli Wang, 54, faces multiple charges.
On March 28, around 3:15 p.m., troopers received a complaint alleging Wang inappropriately touched a victim while at a business in Queensbury. Police say an investigation found Wang was hired by the victim for a massage at Lily Spa earlier that day.
Troopers say Wang forcibly touched the victim as well as two others dating back to the fall of 2023. Troopers' investigation found Wang was not licensed to perform massage therapy services in New York State.
Charges:
- Third-degree sexual abuse (three counts)
- Forcible touching (three counts)
- Other New York State Education Department law violations
On March 30, Wang was taken into custody at the Lily Spa. He was taken to Queensbury State Police for processing.
