State Route 334 closure announced in Mohawk
The upcoming closure of a portion of State Route 334 in the town of Mohawk has been announced by the Department of Transportation.
MOHAWK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The upcoming closure of a portion of State Route 334 in the town of Mohawk has been announced by the Department of Transportation. The roadway will be closed to traffic near the former Fonda, Johnstown and Gloversville Railroad Bridge over the Cayadutta Creek starting on April 16.
The closure will be in place to allow work crews to remove a bridge abutment. Work is expected to last for three weeks.
A posted detour will be established on State Route 30A and State Route 67. Drivers are reminded to slow down in work zones, as fines are doubled for speeding in such areas.
