CAIRO, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A temporary water shutdown in Cairo is planned for Wednesday as the water department looks to install a new water main pipe. The shutdown is only expected to affect the Hannaford Market and Plaza.
The new piping will be installed along Route 32, and the shutdown is expected to last from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Once the water is back on, cloudy water is expected and will go away once the air dissipates.
