2020 Dodge Charger brings power to the four-door domestic sedan enthusiast

Iconic but modernized styling

The latest family musclecar Dodge Charger displays a familiar and easily recognizable soda-bottle form with scalloped body sides, a bold athletic stance, and signature LED “racetrack” taillamps. The overall look of the Charger presents clean lines creating a sleek, chiseled, and light-appearing mass.

The hood, fenders, front and rear fascias, headlamps, tail lamps, front doors, and rear spoiler are sculpted, creating a seamless look with sleek aerodynamics. The C-pillar’s touchdown point, which is moved rearward, creates an exaggerated fastback look, combined with a short rear overhang, and a spoiler is integrated into the deck lid.

Potent power

Energy is delivered to the rear wheels by a 6.4-liter SRT HEMI V-8 with a multiple displacement system through an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Horsepower rating is 485 at 6,100 rpm while the torque rating is 475 lb.-ft. at 4,200 rpm. Zero-to-60 mph time is 4.3 seconds. EPA mileage estimates are 15 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. Not bad considering the power output.

The new Dodge Charger’s cabin exhibits driver-focused interior features with premium, soft-touch materials, a customizable 7-inch full-color, driver information display instrument cluster, and an instrument panel center stack with next-generation Uconnect Access touchscreen and available HD audio system.
