Mics Caught Travis Kelce’s Classy Message to Former Teammate After Chiefs’ Win Over Bills
All the respect.
Travis Kelce had a special embrace with a former teammate after the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and fans loved it.
Kelce met up with Bills offensive lineman Mitch Morse postgame to share a few words with his former teammate. Morse, who played college football at Missouri, spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Chiefs before moving over to the Bills in 2019. That means he had plenty of overlap with Kelce, who has spent the entirety of his 11-year NFL career in Kansas City.
“I love you, man,” Kelce said. “Hell of a job leading these boys to get to this point, man. It just gets proven every season. Keep doing it, man.”
Here’s the full exchange.
"I love you pal."

An awesome moment of sportsmanship between @tkelce and @mithenmor60 ???? pic.twitter.com/AMDeMVE8Ba
All the feels.
Morse also provided Kelce with some words of encouragement, saying the Chiefs are hitting “a beautiful stride” and hoping that Kelce would stay healthy.
“Go all the way, alright?” Morse said.
It’s the type of postgame sportsmanship that makes the NFL special, showcasing the brotherhood between former teammates. Fans, naturally, loved it… especially Chiefs fans, who clearly miss having Morse around the team.

I love Mitch Morse. I was so sad when the Chiefs let him go. He’s an incredible human. If you’ve never heard about Mitch and his Brother, Robbie, I encourage you to look their story up. https://t.co/xCZiNMOAaR

He always says the right stuff. Carries himself the right way. Just seems like a hell of a dude. And he’s a baller.
Buffalo is lucky to have a dude like this around. https://t.co/IxpuOgiJTb
