Sponsorship: Women team up with Lotus Sanctuary
We are pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement and partnership with Wolverhampton based Lotus Sanctuary.
Lotus Sanctuary is a community interest company with the pure and simple intention of housing and empowering vulnerable women suffering a range of complex issues; from rough sleepers to domestic violence victims, sexually exploited women and those seeking to get free from drug and alcohol addictions.
Gurpal Singh, Lotus Sanctuary: “The demand for our services is always growing and shows no sign of easing. Homelessness is a serious issue in the UK, with stats showing that it is only on the rise. As demand grows, so does our dedication to meet the demand. This drives us to continue to grow the service we deliver. We are operational across the UK, with over 400 units of supported housing. We continue to meet the rising demand of women who are homeless or facing homelessness”.
“As a company our goal is to keep expanding to meet the needs of vulnerable women in our community, and we truly believe that we have the perfect team for the job. Success looks different on a case by case basis, but with the passion and dedication shown by our staff, we can say with confidence that we will always do our utmost in supporting the women in our care on their journey of recovery”.
“Our hopes and aspirations for our residents is that they recover from the issues that led them to us, whether that be domestic abuse or domestic violence, rough sleeping, substance misuse or no fault evictions.”
“We are a growing organisation operating across the UK but our roots are in Wolverhampton and therefore delighted to partner with Sporting Khalsa Women, an ambitious organisation with shared values whom enrich lives and invest in their local community. We look forward to working together and believe we will have a long and successful partnership”.
Kelly Williams, Sporting Khalsa Women: “We are really pleased to have formed a partnership with Lotus Sanctuary and believe that our two organisations will be able to do great work together on and off the pitch and raise awareness around the unfortunate issues that many face. Thank you Gurpal and the team for their support and sponsorship and we look forward to working with you all”.
