'Coup' characters could 'end up ratting each other out'

Washington has entered a new era. The report from FBI special counsel Robert Mueller put to rest those claims the Trump campaign in 2016 colluded with Russia. There are no charges coming, he made clear.

So now, with President Trump in the Oval Office and his pick for attorney general, William Barr, heading the DOJ, investigations have been launched into who started that investigation, which apparently was based on “fake” facts.

So what’s starting to happen, reports talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, is that those in power during the Barack Obama administration are starting to get just a little bit worried about what charges might result from the latest investigation by the DOJ and a specially appointed U.S. attorney.

“All of these participants in the coup are beginning to accuse each other. This is so delicious,” he said. “[Former CIA chief John] Brennan and [fired FBI chief James] Comey are going at it over who first put the unverified dossier into the intelligence briefing.”

Limbaugh explained, “Folks, it’s like rats scurrying amidst the ship to try to get off of it. They’re all out there trying to say, ‘I didn’t do it; you did it.'”

Those who participated in what Trump supporters openly described as a “coup” attempt against the sitting president would have been many. Those who used a “dossier” assembled by a foreign agent as evidence in a U.S. court, those who attempted to set up a Trump campaign adviser, those who paid the bills, those who leaked to the media, those who claimed Russia collusion against the facts, and more.

“Frankly, it’s great to see. These guys are out now trying to blame others, point fingers at each other,” Limbaugh said. “Brennan and Comey are actually in an argument over who put the Steele dossier into the intelligence briefing and then had it go up to the FISA court. So if these guys could be leveraged, they could the end up lying and ratting each other out.”

Limbaugh explained, “I got an email note from a friend talking about all of the rats in this ship now starting to accuse each other, Comey/Rosenstein, Rosenstein/Comey, Brennan/Comey. And he said to me, ‘The only question, Rush, is: How high up will they allow all this to go?’ Meaning, how high up is it gonna go where are they gonna draw the line and not name people? We know Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, and Obama knew all about this coup. In fact, they green-lighted it,” he said.

He said he doesn’t believe authorities will take it as high as Barack Obama, “even if it goes there.”

“For the good of the country,” he said. “They’re not gonna go after a former president.”

Hillary Clinton, however, he said, “needs to be caught up in this, and I would love it if some of these people start fingering her and the DNC as being the real impetus for this. Real Clear Investigations, by the way, points out that this Russiagate probe by Mr. Durham has been investigating for months now. The first evidence is traced back to an October 3rd House of Representatives hearing that James Baker (the executive in the FBI) was under investigation by Durham.”

The list is long of the rest of those who potentially had involvement.
