Four-star defensive lineman Lamar Goods decommits from Kentucky
LEXINGTON – Kentucky football's 2020 recruiting momentum hit a bump Wednesday with the departure of a four-star commitment from its class.
Four-star defensive lineman Lamar Goods, a native Canadian attending a prep school in Connecticut, announced he was reopening his recruitment in a note posted to Twitter. Goods initially committed to Kentucky in April but visited Florida over the weekend.

With Goods looking elsewhere, Kentucky still boasts three commitments ranked as four-star prospects by at least one recruiting service, including five-star defensive lineman Justin Rogers.
Rogers, the No. 1-ranked recruit in Michigan, visited Alabama over the weekend but told the Detroit News he remains committed to Kentucky. The other two four-star prospects in the class, Christian Academy offensive lineman John Young and Lexington Catholic quarterback Beau Allen, have said they will not take any more visits or listen to pitches from other schools.

Kentucky could quickly rebound from the loss of Goods with Louisville natives Jordan Watkins (Butler) and Izayah Cummings (Male) scheduled for official visits to campus this weekend. Both wide receivers are considering UK and Louisville and are ranked by Rivals as the second and third best prospects in the Louisville high school 2020 class behind Young.
