David Beckham and Will Ferrell join Wrexham’s Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney at Wembley for cup final
DAVID BECKHAM chose Hollywood A-listers over the drama of the Premier League final day as he joined Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell at Wembley for Non-League football’s showpiece.
Manchester United legend Beckham was flanked by Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds and Chelsea fan Ferrell as the Dragons lost 1-0 to Bromley in the FA Trophy final.

But the names are getting bigger as the Dragons build towards a cliffhanger.
Becks has always been known for his flair on and off the pitch while Ferrell is more of an Anchorman.
But they both shared jokes with Free Guy Reynolds – before the action toughened up out in the middle in front of 46,000 supporters.
Bromley’s triumph leaves Wrexham focused on the ultimate prize – victory in the National League play-offs to return to the top-four divisions.

McElhenney, best known for starring in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, will hope the clouds lift with promotion.
And even before kick-off he was in philosophical mood as he tweeted: “Que sera, sera…. whatever will be will be, we’ll see you at Wembley, que sera, sera.”
Meanwhile, Reynolds’ close friend Ferrell was at Wembley expanding his range of footballing adventures.
He’s an avowed Chelsea follower but promised in January to visit Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground.

And the Californian revealed his unique judgement on football this side of the pond in an interview with the Men in Blazers show.
The Elf and Wedding Crashers star said: “We are planning a trip in February to hit the triple crown — Fulham, QPR and and Wrexham.”
Out on the pitch, Cheek – the perennial poacher of the National League – pounced for a close-in clincher on 64 minutes.
In an open contest full of chances, Wrexham hit back with late pressure.
But Bromley keeper Ellery Balcombe peaked his fine saves with a brilliant tip-over from a header by sub Jake Hyde’s header.
