Bridezilla is slammed as ‘ridiculous’ after uninviting a friend from her wedding over +1 drama
BRIDEZILLAS have been known to dictate every little detail of their big day.
One bride-to-be shared the ridiculous reason why she uninvited her friend from her wedding.
A Reddit user shared a Facebook post which detailed the crazy rule a bride implemented which meant her friend’s partner was left off the guestlist.
The anonymous post was written by a bride-to-be who decided to enforce a strict plus one rule at her wedding.
She explained: “We want this day to be full of love and happiness for everyone, and celebrate all of the long-term couples in our lives, as well as ourselves, so we were only inviting committed couples.”
However, the bridezilla failed to assign her childhood friend a plus-one, despite her pal being in a 10-year-long relationship.

“She’s been with her boyfriend since we were 17, but has always said that they have no interest in getting married because her parents went through a bad divorce when she was a child,” the bride wrote.
Despite her friend’s boyfriend being the reason the bride and groom met in the first place, the poster seemed unwilling to waive her crazy rule.
The bride continued: “My friend then started shouting down the phone that she’d been with her boyfriend for over a decade without any breaks, which was not the case for half of the married couples in our friendship group.”
The bride also mentioned how she and her fiancé had only been together for a year, but said “when you know, you know.”

She concluded: “I’m going to have to disinvite her now after her attitude towards us, but I’m worried that some people might take her side and also not come out of support for her – she’s always the victim.”
Reddit users took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the bride’s outrageous call.
“The bride showed her exactly who she is: a kook. Her poor husband-to-be should be aware of just how crazy this person can get when running on the creaky hamster wheel of her mind,” wrote one reader.
