Strictly fans brand show a ‘fix’ after favourite is sent home – as rival dodges dance off
STRICTLY Come Dancing has been hit by fresh fix fears after Tony Adams survived another week on the BBC One competition.
Team GB star Ellie Simmonds, 27, was given the boot after she found herself in the dreaded bottom two with children’s TV presenter Molly Rainford, 21.
Comedian Ellie Taylor and pro Johannes Radebe were the first couple revealed to have made it through to next week, with Fleur East and Vito Coppla next.
Hamza Yassin – who scored three 10s on Saturday night – was the fourth celeb put through.
While Tony Adams and Katya Jones were the fifth announced and screamed with joy when hearing their names.
Despite former footballer Tony, 56, receiving regular negative feedback from the judges he and dance partner Katya are winning when it comes to viewer votes.

But some viewers were stunned that he dodged another dance-off.
One raged on Twitter: “What a fix. Tony Adams going through and Ellie Simmonds in the bottom 2? I’m actually annoyed ”
A second said: “I can not believe that Tony has got through again. Such a fix, makes me want to turn it off. #Strictly”
Another ranted: “OMG!!! SERIOUSLY, STOP VOTING FOR TONY!!!! This is getting beyond ridiculous! There are other celebrities far more deserving and talented that are being voted out because of this idiot!”
However, a fan of Tony’s reasoned on Twitter: “Tony Adams is a legend with millions of fans globally voting to keep him in because we want to see him learning something alien to him.

Tony landed bottom of the leaderboard again after his salsa to I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) by Pitbull with Katya.
Dressed in a low-buttoned shirt and attempting some dramatic lifts, the pair were brought down by a number of mistakes which left them with a score of 21 points.
Anton Du Beke told him on Saturday: “For me, every time you come out, if I could give you 15 I would, but you went a bit wrong so it might not be 15 today, but good effort nonetheless.”
TOUGH GOODBYE
Despite giving it her all, Ellie, who has five Paralympic gold medals to her name, failed to be saved by a single judge following the dance off.
Putting on a brave face, the sportswomen told Tess Daly competing on the BBC dancefloor for six weeks has “changed her life” and she’s now more confident than ever.
Ellie was also keen to heap praise on her professional dancing partner Nikita Kuzmin, gushing over their close bond.
She said: “It’s been the most incredible experience – life changing really. I want to thank Nikita ever so much. I’mgoing to miss him – he’s changed my life and confidence.

“I’ve literally loved waking up every single day and dancing, I’m going to dance forever. It’s incredible, this show is life changing. He’s [Nikita] changed my life. We’ve had the most amazing days. We’ve
had not just dancing days – but days we’ve just spoken for hours.
“And the confidence you’ve given me – I seem confident but you know what I’m like, I worry about everything so much and we’ve literally represented everything. We went out there and danced our life out every single day.”
Ellie and Nikita will open up to Rylan and Janette Manrara about their journey on Strictly It Takes Two on Monday night.
