Fire breaks out in two-story building in Queens
ASTORIA, Queens (PIX11) -- Two firefighters were injured as crews battled a two-alarm fire in Queens Monday evening.
The fire was reported around 6:58 p.m. and broke out at a two-story building at 18-32 Steinway Street, according to the FDNY.
25 units and EMS personnel responded. The fire was under control by 8:20 p.m., officials say.
The two injured firefighters were taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
