U.S. government seeks to halt North Dakota pipeline construction
The U.S. government is moving to halt work on the controversial Dakota Access pipeline on some U.S. army land by asking the pipeline company to "voluntarily pause" construction in an area that the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe says holds sacred sites and artifacts.
