The judge presiding during the session on case of Zhirayr Sefilyan and his supporters imposed sanctions on Yegorian`s lawyer
ArmInfo.During the trial in the case of Zhirayr Sefilyan and his associates, accused of illegal acquisition, storage and use of weapons and ammunition, the presiding
judge Tatevik Grigoryan applied sanctions against lawyer Tigran Yegorian.
Moreover, the judge said that she would apply to the Chamber of
Advocates of Armenia so that Yegorian was brought to justice.
According to her, the decision comes into force from the moment of
proclamation and is not subject to appeal. Then she retired to the
meeting room to discuss and assess the conduct of attorney Tigran
Hayrapetyan and others.
Egoryan himself stated that he did not manage to get informed about
the reasons for imposing sanctions on him.
To note, the court session scheduled for 11:00 hours on the case of
Zhirayr Sefilyan and his associates accused of illegal acquisition,
storage and use of weapons and ammunition began with a half-hour
delay caused by delays when the law enforcement officers examined the
personal belongings of the defendants' lawyers. Defense lawyers
Tigran Airapetian, Arayik Papikyan, Tigran Yegoryan, Nina
Karapetyants refused to undergo proper examination and examination of
personal belongings, and therefore they were not admitted to the
courtroom. Immediately after the beginning of the meeting, the
presiding judge Tatevik Grigoryan removed Zhirayr Sefilyan and Nerses
Poghosyan from the courtroom because the latter refused to stand at
the beginning of the trial. The court declared an hour-off.
