Yerevan: we are not intended to put pressure on Turkey, we will do so that international society will join us in this matter
ArmInfo. In the matter of opening Armenian-Turkish border it is necessary to be optimists, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated today in Armenian
Parliament. He stressed that he does not agree that there is no need
to lead negotiations with Turkey on this issue. "The negotiations
should be done with everyone. Only through dialogue it is possible to
solve the problem", he stressed.
Nalbandian also assured that in the issue of Armenian-Turkish
relations, Armenian diplomacy achieves certain goals. "Many people
say that we must exert pressure on Turkey so that it opens the border
with Armenia. But let those who talk about this, themselves try to
put pressure on Turkey, let's see if it will work for them. And we do
it differently - we do it so that the international community would
join us on this issue, "Nalbandian said.
