Yerevan "in waiting mode" in relations with Ankara - Armenia`s premier
ArmInfo. Armenia is waiting for the implementation of official agreements in its relations with Turkiye, Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated in Parliament.
"In our relations with Turkey, if I may say so, we are in a waiting
mode, we are waiting for the implementation of the reached and
officially recorded agreements, that is, the opening of the Armenia-
Turkey land border for citizens of third countries and holders of
diplomatic passports," Pashinyan said. According to him, the opening
of the Armenian-Turkish border will be an epoch-making event for the
region, so efforts in this direction will be continued.
The Prime Minister touched upon, in his words, a socio-psychological
nuance. "t is very important to note that I am now talking about
Armenia-Turkey relations, and not about Armenian-Turkish relations.
These two formulations have something in common, but they are not the
same thing," Mr Pashinyan said.
