Fines for damage to nature reserves doubled
ArmInfo. Violating the regime of nature reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, national parks, natural
monuments and other specially protected state natural areas, causing damage or their destruction is fraught with fines for citizens in the amount of 150 thousand drams (instead of the previously existing 80
thousand drams), and for officials - 300 thousand drams (instead of 150 thousand drams). This is stated in the message of the Inspection Body for the Protection of Nature and Subsoil.
In case of repeated violations over the next 6 months, citizens will
be fined 200 thousand drams, officials - 300 thousand drams.
In case of violation of the requirements for the preservation or use
of cultural heritage sites (historical and cultural monuments), the
fine for citizens will be from 100 thousand to 150 thousand drams,
officials will be required to pay from 300 thousand to 350 thousand
drams. Previously, citizens were fined 50-80 thousand drams,
officials 150-200 thousand drams. If repeated violations are detected
over six months, the amount of the fine will be 200 thousand drams
and 400 thousand drams, respectively.
