At least 13 have been injured in a car ramming attack in the Israeli city of Ra'anana, FRANCE 24's Irris Makler said. According to police reports and local media, a young man from the West Bank drove a car stolen from a woman he stabbed in the main street of Ra'anana and ran people over, Makler said. A volcano that erupted in southwest Iceland for the second time in less than a month set fire to several houses in the fishing town of Grindavik, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) south-west of the capital Reykjavik. Molten lava flows reached the outskirts of Grindavik around noon on Sunday, setting three houses alight, although the town was evacuated earlier and there was no immediate danger to people. Defensive barriers have been built to the north of the town to divert the flows of lave away.

Farmers and their tractors converged on Berlin from every corner of Germany on Monday morning to join a giant protest demanding a rethink of plans to tax them more. The US military said Sunday its forces shot down a cruise missile fired at an American destroyer warship from Houthi controlled areas of Yemen.
