Rwandan genocide, 30 years on: For many survivors, justice is too slow
Thirty years after the genocide against the Tutsis, over 1000 international arrest warrants issued by Kigali against the perpetrators of the killings are still awaiting resolution. Some suspects, like Fulgence Kayishema or Félicien Kabuga, have been found after decades on the run. But for many survivors, international justice is still too slow, even though several countries including France are collaborating with Kigali to track down and prosecute the fugitives.
