Another week, another horrific abortion ruling. On Tuesday, the Arizona Supreme Court upheld an abortion ban passed in 1864 when Arizona was still a territory, not a state. Arizonans have been living under a 15-week ban since December 2022, but this new ruling prohibits abortions at any gestation unless done to save the life of the pregnant person. Every year, over half a million people gather in Sturgis, South Dakota for a ten-day motorcycle rally—the largest in the United States. There, among the masses of confederate flag-wielding white men, is an Indigenous motorcycle group of women and femmes called the Medicine Wheel Riders, who've been traveling the 1,200 miles from Phoenix, Arizona to Sturgis every year since 2018. But you might have seen a chair hurling down at you from above that country musician Morgan Wallen threw off a roof. On Monday, much of the U.S. saw a solar eclipse, which was cool...but unless you were in the path of totality, it was a tad anti-climactic.
