of course Jim. I, like you, want us to do well. frustration does get the better of me at times admittedly.
that first half was ridiculous imo. i know its workin now but long term it surely cant. you always get more fatigued defending. the second was classic rL. dominate, field position = points.

I found that really dispiriting primarily because, and I don’t mean this in a snide way-possibly they had injuries, they were pretty mediocre for at least half of that game and ended up with an easy win.
We really should have made that a closer run thing and we also benefitted from Livett not being able to hit a cow’s backside with a banjo on the extra points but we didn’t take our chances, gifted them points and ran out comfortable losers. In terms of recruitment for 2024. Second row will obviously be some area we will need to bring in some uk based players.

I was watching Oldham vs Rochdale this afternoon and the young second row George Hirst really stood out. At 22 he has a tall but solid frame, hits the line hard and has good leg drive too. Not short of a bit of pace either.

I wonder if Mills will be looking at players from L1 and Champ as well as SL who could improve us or have potential.
