Consultations on candidates for Constitutional Court judges underway in majority
The consultations on candidates for the positions of the Constitutional Court judges are underway in the majority. It has been reported that the Georgian Dream will choose candidate from several jurists . At the moment, the only candidate known to media is Manana Kobakhidze.
The UNM is against appointing the acting MP to theposition of the Constitutional Court judge.

One position of a judge of the Constitutional Court has been vacant for four months. The right to nominate a candidate for judge has the Speaker of the Parliament, a faction and a six-member group of MPs.
The Georgian Dream did not approve of the candidate nominated by Davit Usupashvili to the Constitutional Court.
After the assembly of the newly elected parliament, Zaza Rukhadze withdrew his candidacy.
