It’s no secret that Israeli restaurateur Michael Solomonov is a darling of the culinary world—and he’s got the hardware to prove it. With three James Beard Foundation Awards under his belt, including, most recently, a 2016 Cookbook of the Year prize for Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking, Solomonov is in the running for a few more Beard Awards this year.

Last I checked, Jews enjoy question-asking (Passover) and questioning (see: life), which makes Jeopardy! feels like a part of the family—that kosher portion of the media diet. Contestants of the game are given an answer by host Alex Trebek (née mustache), to which they respond in the form of a question. Which is to say, in short, that we love Jeopardy! here at Tablet.
