Over half of the anti-Donald Trump protesters arrested at recent demonstrations in Portland, Oregon, did not vote in the election, KGW reports. Of 112 people arrested by the Portland Police Bureau during the protests, at least 70 either did not turn in a ballot or were not registered to vote.

Donald Trump's name will soon no longer be emblazoned on the "Trump Place" apartment buildings he developed in the 1990s. The owner of the buildings, located in Manhattan's Upper West Side, has announced that on Wednesday the process of permanently removing the president-elect's name from the buildings will begin.

Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) was unanimously re-nominated for speaker of the House on Tuesday in a closed-door election, despite having spent much of Donald Trump's presidential campaign at odds with the Republican nominee. "Welcome to the dawn of a new unified Republican government," Ryan had said at a news conference before the nomination, adding, "It feels really good to say that, actually."

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) filed legislation Tuesday to abolish the Electoral College system, calling it "outdated" and "undemocratic," the Los Angeles Times reports. Boxer's bill calls for an amendment to the Constitution, and faces long-shot odds due to the fact that Republicans hold control of both chambers. Should the amendment pass through Congress, it would then need three-fourths of the states to ratify it for it to become law.

Breitbart News is preparing a lawsuit against a "major media company" after it says it was unfairly labeled a "white nationalist website," The Hill reports.

Halloween may have come and gone, but thanks to President-elect Donald Trump's win last week in the U.S. presidential election, novelty masks are still selling like hot cakes. On Tuesday, Business Insider posted a video about a Japanese plant that's been producing 350 rubber masks of the president-elect's face every single day, as demand skyrockets. The factory, located in Tokyo, had originally planned to make just 45 masks a day.

When USA Today asked Fox News host Megyn Kelly whether her former boss, ousted Fox New chief Roger Ailes, "deserved a second chance in the news business," she did not mince words. "Absolutely not," Kelly said in an interview published Tuesday. "I have no doubts now about who he is or what he did. Bloomberg reported Tuesday that former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers left the team Tuesday morning in an "abrupt departure" that apparently "came at the request of team officials." The former Michigan congressman had been selected to serve as the transition team's national security adviser.
