Edinson Cavani will leave upon the expiry of his current deal this summer, while Paul Pogba is growing increasingly likely to do the same – while Cristiano Ronaldo could also cut short his United return.
It is therefore a boost to the club then, that The Guardian report that Shaw is willing to agree a new deal.
The left-back is ‘happy’ at Old Trafford and enjoys playing for the Red Devils.
His current £150,000-a-week deal is set to expire in 2023, although United possess an option to trigger a 12 month extension.
A renewal will likely see Shaw receive a pay rise.
The 26-year-old has represented United since 2014, when they made him the world’s most expensive teenager by shelling out £30million to purchase him from Southampton.

He has since racked up 212 appearances for the Red Devils.
Shaw is hoping to improve his current form in order to remain in Gareth Southgate’s England plans.
He has won 19 caps for his country, famously scoring in last year’s Euro 2020 final.
On his ambitions for the rest of this campaign, Shaw recently told the Mirror: “This is the crunch time of the season and it is very important in the league to get some momentum.
“As a team we believe we can win the Champions League.
“Not many people on the outside will think it and some will think I’m stupid for saying that.
“But we have that belief and confidence that we can win it.”
