AT&T has backed out of a deal with Huawei to sell the company's new flagship smartphone in the US, as reported by The Wall Street Journal and independently confirmed by The Verge. US stocks climbed higher, led by technology shares, as investors continue to price in the impact of tax cuts ahead of corporate earnings season, which starts later this week.

The S&P 500 rose 0.2%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined less than 0.1% and the more tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 increased 0.3%.

TCL’s Roku TVs are very successful, so it’s not too surprising to see the closely-aligned companies collaborating on the first soundbar to feature the Entertainment Assistant recently announced by Roku. Today at CES, Roku offered a preview of the soundbar that it’s plainly branding as the TCL Roku Smart Soundbar.
