Open Text Corp. shares dropped in the extended session Wednesday after the Canadian enterprise software company's quarterly results fell short of Wall Street estimates. Open Text U.S. shares fell 7.1% after hours, following a 0.6% rise to close at $36.59 in the regular session. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Audentes Therapeutics Inc. (BOLD) on Wednesday reported a loss of $25.6 million in its first quarter. The San Francisco-based company said it had a loss of 74 cents per share. The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 81 cents per share. An Alabama physician is scheduled to go on trial Friday on charges that he improperly prescribed fentanyl and other drugs to 3 Doors Down guitarist Matthew Roberts, who died of a drug overdose. Dr. Richard Snellgrove of Fairhope faces a 13-count federal indictment in Mobile alleging unlawful distribution of controlled substances and health care fraud.
