A DUBLIN man has been left in shock after paying a whopping SEVEN euro for a breakfast roll.
The picture of the roll shows the sandwich, which contained 9 fillings, coming to a total of exactly €7.10 – and people are divided.
The tweet has been liked thousands of times and has caused a huge debate on Irish Twitter, with many joking “the boom is back”.
The Twitter user posted a picture of the roll, and said: “Screaming crying throwing up.”
He clarified that it was not nine separate fillings he got in the roll, but nine items; two sausages, two rashers, two pudding, two eggs and hash brown.
‘PRETTY STANDARD’ BREAKFAST ROLL
He added that this was “pretty standard” for a breakfast roll.
Twitter users seem to be divided on the price but many have dubbed the price “insane”.
One person said: “For a breakfast roll? I would have said I don’t want it and walked out.”

Another joked: “€7.10 for a breakfast roll? Did they make all of the sausages and pudding in front of you while an orchestra played?
“Jaysus wept. First they came for the beer, now this. Gonna need a loan out at this rate.”
Another social media queried: “What’s in it? Caviar?? Absolutely scandalous.”
Others defended the price and one Twitter user said: “He’s after getting a jumbo breakfast in a roll and wondering why it cost him that much.”
Another added: “9 fillings though, that’s practically a slaughterhouse.”
‘THIS ISN’T A MATTER OF DEBATE’
Another user hit out at those defending the price and said: “Any Irish person trying to justify this price is insane.
“All of the replies are breakfast roll babies. Two rashers is one filling. This isn’t a matter of debate.
“The amount of profit they’re making selling this at €7+ is insane.”
