A TESCO driver did £7,500 damage to a listed cottage during a botched food delivery.
The worker’s van slammed into the holiday home leaving a huge crack in the brickwork and the roof jutting upwards at an angle.
Cops are trying to trace the driver who fled the scene after slamming into the empty property in Luss, next to Loch Lomond.
Owner Jinjin Hu – who lets out the gaff – was horrified when she saw the crash on its CCTV system.
Jinjin, 30, who has complained to Tesco and cops, said: “The driver was delivering to the Airbnb next door.
“The other neighbour said he heard a noise, went to check what was going on and saw the damage.
“I’m annoyed the driver didn’t come out to check and just drove off.
“He must have heard something but revved his engine and kept driving.”
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We’re really sorry. We’ve been in touch so we can put things right.”
Police said inquiries into last month’s smash continue.

Earlier this month we told how a delivery driver was caught performing a sex act on himself.
The shocking incident was recorded on camera by a stunned resident in Aberdeen.
It is understood the driver was delivering kilts around the city at the time.
