Personally hope he finishes his career at the LSV. John is a complicated character and there are more important things to him than Australian $'s.

The Dec Patron Derby.
So after a bitterly disappointing peformance against Widnes, a chance to right a few wrongs? Or will it be a case of this is where things start to quickly unravel for us with such a tough set of opening league fixtures to come.
Swinton are absolutely no mugs. Anything else than a top performance will result in a defeat. Swinton come into this game unbeaten which included wins against Widnes and big spending Oldham (who have already beaten Fax)
Selection will be interesting. Читать дальше...

Not bad, Thompson in for Cooper and I'd imagine it's Hampshire/Forber for Leeming

Ultimately they’re going to need some new faces even if it means a loan or dr as we don’t have enough fit players to name a 21 man squad.

Wrench has got something that many haven't got & you can't learn ... pace. So worth working on.
I bet he will be going through all sorts of decision making practices to work on his defence.
Reality is however that if he did start losing us games he'd get picked out as a defensive weakness by other teams & he wouldn't be kept in the team for long. The odd mistake would be tolerated but only so much. I think all clubs would be the same. Wigan will have left out lots of youngsters over the years. Читать дальше...

Keep believing it to be true - your perception is your reality. The idea that players that have played at the bigger teams in the PL see Leeds as a big game is bonkers. There is no telling you so no point continuing with this.

I think holding your hands up and admitting it was a mistake is an improvement on the sort of doubling-down approach RFL officials have had in the past when they make poor decisions. I think we need to be more forgiving of our governing body. They are being forced into acting at pace by Blobby McCokeface et al.

Obviously the 3 injuries on Saturday could have a serious impact on the season; I know its early days but have so far only heard that Calcott has had surgery on his knee but no indication about timescales for a return, although it will presumably be fairly long term. From Finns last comments would sound as though Douglas may be fit for Dewsbury in 3 weeks, would be good to know if either of the other 2 have a chance for then, or if not what if any plans for temporary replacements. As much as I enjoyed the arrogant Aussies being shut up yet again, albeit with a none impartial ref and a home field advantage, myself and my daughters had the misfortune of sitting next to the most disgusting family I have ever come across. They claimed they were Wigan fans and the filth that came out of their mouths would indicate they were from Wigan, but their personal hygiene was terrible.
