Having just read Shaws bit on Twitter it seems a strange paragraph. Surely Rowley would have told Hull FC he was declining the offer and therefore no need to Hull & Salford to discuss. To say talks broke down as Salford learnt Rowley was staying making it easier to reject Hull seems an odd turn of events.

I guess Charles will keep the goalkicking duties now unless he's rested and Sutcliffe takes over.

I think the Widnes game is a really tricky and difficult game. But one we need to bounce back an win. Widnes have certainly surprised me so far considering how much stick their own fans were giving them in preseason. They seem to have a good scoring threat have scored 40 plus points twice in their 5 league games which averages 32 per game. Leighs win will come and I thought we may have pipped you guys. Ashton did knock on but some you get, some you don’t.

Big game for us on Friday. If we can beat Catalans, that could give us the much needed lift we need. Lose it and we need a miracle. Hopefully Asiata will be back with Ipape the week after.

Warrington my second team and had a chuckle with my mates in the Mullberry Tree after the game. Consistency is the key and one big win for Wembley required. Good luck.

Dewsbury are presently next to bottom of the table with one win from 5 league games.

17th March: Dewsbury v Halifax L 24-10
29th March: Dewsbury v Batley W 24-4
7th April: Dewsbury v Widnes L 24-6
14th April: Barrow v Dewsbury L 27-20
21st April: Swinton v Dewsbury L 50-22

Taking the Barrow result as a direct comparison with our result, we seem to have the edge. My guess on the bookies line is that the Dons will probably be giving Dewsbury 12 points start.

If it's a means to an end with salary cap and other incomings with Hall, then I can accept it.
I just hope supporters don't start getting on his back, because he is definitely not the player he was.
But hopefully can still do a job.
At least he'll play regularly which is more than can be said about who he's replacing.

My mate is a big Hull fan and says that Rowley and Briscoe are done deals.

Going against the grain here, but i wouldn't want Sneyd back. No doubting his quality and he's in arguably the form of his career right now but he'll be 34 next season and would he want to come back anyway after he wanted to move back to Manchester to be closer to family.

I'd like to think we'll be targeting someone who we can build the side around for the next few seasons.
