Levon Mkrtchyan promised to "punish" higher education institutions that cast a shadow on the Armenian education system
ArmInfo. The provision of fake diplomas by some higher education institutions of Armenia, although not of a mass nature, nevertheless, must be eradicated. Minister of
Education and Science of Armenia Levon Mkrtchyan stated this in a
conversation with journalists.
"If the investigation proves that some universities have provided
false diplomas, the licensing procedure for these educational
institutions will be reviewed. Nobody has the right make the quality
of the education system in Armenia suspicious," the minister said,
stressing that the same applies to the country's medical schools that
provided false diplomas to foreign students and the outbreak of a
scandal in Israel.

department appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country
to obtain more accurate information from the Israeli side about
students and universities that received and provided false diplomas.
"When this information becomes clear, the guilty institutions will be
held liable - if this is a private educational institution, it will
lose its license, if it is a state institution, it will be held
accountable in accordance with the requirements of the law,"
Mkrtchyan promised.

that some Armenian universities provide false diplomas to foreign
students. The case even dealt with Israeli law enforcement. In a
