ArmInfo.Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan examines the issue of sending the son of arrested oppositionist Shant Harutyunyan to a mental clinic.   Earlier, Shahen  Harutyunyan on his Facebook wall informed that he  was sent to medical treatment in a mental clinic.  For getting details Ombudsman Office spoke to Shahen Harutyunyan, and  sent a request to Armenian Defense Ministry.  To note, Shahen Harutyunyan was not once detended to Police because  of different demonstrative acts by which he tried to implement his  political views. ArmInfo.Deepening of economic cooperation compensates reduction of US financial assistance to Armenia, director of the Center for Regional Studies Richard Kirakosyan said. According to the budget recommendations of the administration of  Donald Trump published on May 23 for the US Congress, the assistance  to Armenia in FY18 will be reduced by 67%, decreasing from $ 20.4 to  $ 6.8 million.
