So we're off to Siddal in the Challenge Cup then...looking on here they don't even have a stand, just a clubhouse and several pitches, so should we be asking them if they want to swap to BV and earn a decent payday ??

Be nice to have some confirmation from the club, though if they are going through this many pre season things with us (ie not just training and playing but posing for pictures taking part in launch events etc) I assume we must be signing them surely? As above no real surprise. A lack of fire and fight in the team and had more of a friendly feel to it than a competitive game. Clear as day we need another centre and some muscle up front. We should get that with Calcott and Douglas but centre is going to be a huge problem for us again. End of the day we gifted them two tries and bombed 2 ourselves, Oldham not as good as some people are making out.

With the players we have now, of course we are unlikely to win every game this year but we would be expecting to start well.

I am a supporter of RS but barring another injury crisis, we are all needing to see good results in this first block of five games.

Jack Smith and Fergus McCormack seem to be the emerging starlets so far this year. I have high hopes of both personally.
