Authorities say a University of Arizona student was shot to death at an off-campus house party over the weekend. Tucson police say three other people were treated at a hospital early Sunday for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Officers responded to the scene of the shooting about 1:40 a.m. Sunday. Police say 20-year-old Erin Jones was found shot outside the house and was rushed to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. University President Robert Robbins says Jones was a sophomore.

California is partnering with a New Jersey-based pharmaceutical company to purchase a generic version of Narcan, the most well-known version of naloxone that can save a person's life during an opioid overdose. Naloxone has been available without a prescription in the U.S. since last year. Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a partnership with Amneal Pharmaceuticals on Monday.
