The Protecting Freedom of Conscience From Government Discrimination Act could reportedly allow the denial of housing, wedding-related goods, adoption services, marriage licenses, or space in homeless shelters to individuals, businesses, and government employees, the Advocate reports.

Icelandic Prime Minister Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson resigned on Tuesday after being named in the massive Panama Papers leak, which revealed he and dozens of other world leaders harbored money in secret offshore accounts. After the papers from the Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonseca, were leaked over the weekend, Iceland was rocked by protests calling for Gunnlaugsson to resign. Gunnlaugsson he will remain the Progressive Party's chairman.

What do actress Susan Sarandon, academic Cornel West, documentarian Michael Moore, musician Ani DiFranco, country singer Willie Nelson, and ice cream maker Ben Cohen (the Ben of Ben & Jerry's) have in common? Donald Trump has claimed he will make Mexico pay for a border wall, but he's never actually given details on how he would get America's southern neighbor to foot the bill. In a two-page memo reported by The Washington Post on Tuesday, Trump finally outlined his plan to pressure Mexico into making the payment — by cutting off the flow of money from immigrants sent back home.

A federal judge on Monday gave final approval to a $20 billion settlement to end years of litigation over BP's massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. In an earlier ruling, the judge, Carl Barbier, said BP was "grossly negligent" in the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig, which killed 11 workers and resulted in the gushing of 134 million gallons of oil into the sea. Twitter reportedly beat out Verizon, Yahoo, Amazon, and Facebook to earn the rights to stream Thursday night National Football League games online, a person familiar with the deal told Bloomberg. Twitter's foray into online programming isn't an entirely unexpected one: The deal would help solidify Twitter as the go-to place to watch and react to live events, especially as households increasingly cut cable subscriptions.

Wisconsin voters go to the polls on Tuesday to cast ballots in the Republican and Democratic primaries, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) are pushing for big wins. Both candidates lead in the polls, but Cruz has more to gain from a victory, since a sweep of the state's 42 delegates would make it much harder for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump to arrive at the Republican convention with the necessary 1,237 delegates to win the nomination outright. A poll released Monday showed Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas maintaining a five-percentage-point lead over Republican frontrunner Donald Trump ahead of Tuesday's critical Wisconsin primary. Sometimes it looks like Donald Trump really doesn't want to be president of the United States. The unconventional nature of his campaign — dependent on free media, self-financing, and attention-grabbing — seems more and more like a kind of calculated malpractice or negligence. When he should be consolidating his hold over the party, he is instead repelling endorsements and muddying his own message. It makes you think he wants this road show to end — and soon.

The 2016 Republican primary fight has provided lots of personality clashes, but little in the way of actual accomplishment or policy substance. Donald Trump has dominated the race with taunts about Ted Cruz's wife, a continuing vendetta against Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, and thin promises to "make America great again." And yet, he has built a significant delegate lead in the GOP steeplechase.

There is one thing you will never hear an American politician say, at least in public, after losing an election: "I would have prevailed if the voters weren't so foolish, short-sighted, and stupid."

Only youthful idealists and German philosophers by the name of Immanuel Kant would say that when it comes to justice, cost is no object — that one must do the right thing no matter what the price tag. Sensible adults, on the other hand, understand that if morality is expensive, you'll inevitably get less of it.
