Stock market today: World stocks track Wall Street gains ahead of earnings reports
Global markets are mostly higher after U.S. stocks clawed back some of their losses from last week. London's FTSE 100 marked a fresh record high. The yen weakened dipped further to 34-year lows. U.S. futures were mixed and oil prices rose. Roughly 150 companies in the S&P 500 are set to report earnings this week. On Monday, the S&P 500 rose 0.9% to recover more than a quarter of last week's rout. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.7%, and the Nasdaq composite jumped 1.1%. Technology stocks led the way as yields stabilized in the bond market.
