Summer House: Why Lindsay Blames Paige for Fight With Ciara

Lindsay Hubbard addressed Ciara Miller's fight with Danielle Olivera on Summer House and blamed Paige DeSorbo for "inciting" the drama. After watching everything play out in the latest episodes that captured Ciara tossing a glass of red wine in Danielle's face, Lindsay is calling out the guilty culprit. Danielle's BFF thinks Paige is actually the one who instigated the drama over Lindsay and Ciara's mutual feelings for Southern Charm's Austen Kroll. Now that she's watched it back, Lindsay was "surprised" by how much Paige stirred the pot behind the scenes.
The Hamptons house was turned upside down after Ciara got into it with Danielle over her love triangle feud with Lindsay. With Lindsay and Danielle being best friends, Danielle was defending her friend when Ciara flew into a rage and chugged a glass of red wine in her face. Thankfully, there was no bloodshed, but it put a strain on the friendships between the ladies. Watching all the events from last summer play out in Summer House season 6 is only triggering the underlying tension some of the housemates still have with each other.
Now Lindsay is calling out Paige for her involvement in the wine toss. “I was pretty surprised to see the way that [Paige] wound Ciara up to incite the violence that ensued [with] the wine at Andrea [Denver]’s poor love dinner," Lindsay told Us Weekly. The publicist noted how "shocked" she was by Paige's behavior outside of the house. Cameras captured Paige and Ciara's private talks, where the fashion contributor seemingly encouraged Ciara to confront Lindsay about their mutual feelings for Austen. Ciara and Paige felt like Lindsay was insensitive to Ciara's feelings for Austen and attempted to pursue him to make Ciara jealous.
Ciara was already upset over the love triangle after Austen snubbed her and told her he wasn't looking to take their relationship past the fling level. Instead of trying to calm Ciara down, Paige seemingly supported her frustration and told her to give Lindsay a piece of her mind. The entire time Paige was bad-mouthing Lindsay behind her back, Lindsay thought the two were getting along great. "I legitimately left the summer [thinking], ‘Wow, Paige and I got along more than we have," Lindsay said. However, she "was pretty surprised to see the amount of s–t talking that she did,” Lindsay quipped. “She would say one thing to my face and then the door would close in her room and she would just like say all these nasty things about me," she added.
The Summer House cast recently sat down to film the season 6 reunion. With the cast fully aware of everything that was said and done when they weren't in the room, there was certainly a lot to unpack. Paige has been under fire from viewers who think she became the villain of season 6. With Hannah Berner gone, Paige's true colors came to the forefront and rubbed viewers the wrong way. Now it looks like Lindsay and most likely Danielle have changed their views of Paige after watching her actions leading up to the wine toss.
