Straight away, Caldarelli was quickest out of the box, setting a 1’36.241 on his second flying lap, more than half a second clear of the #96 Turner Motorsports BMW M4 GT3 of Michael Dinan and Robby Foley in second place.
Under clear, sunny skies, all of practice was completed with no notable incidents and no red flags.
Dinan put the Turner BMW in second with a 1’36.777, fastest of the Pro-Am Cup cars. Giacomo Altoe was third-quickest in the #3 K-PAX Lamborghini (with Misha Goikhberg), setting a 1’37.376.
The #04 CrowdStrike Racing by Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 (George Kurtz/Colin Braun) was fourth on the board, followed by the #45 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3-R (Charlie Luck/Jan Heylen) in fifth, and the #94 BimmerWorld M4 (Chandler Hull/Bill Auberlen) in sixth. Second best of the three Pro Cup cars was the #6 US Racetronics AMG GT3 (Steven Aghakhani/Loris Spinelli) in seventh.
The #93 Racers Edge Motorsports Acura NSX GT3 (Ashton Harrison / Mario Farnbacher) was eighth fastest, followed by the Pro Cup #33 Winward Racing AMG GT3 (Russell Ward/Philip Ellis) in ninth, with the #191 Zelus Motorsports Lamborghini (Jeff Burton/Corey Lewis) rounding off the top ten.
The #08 DXDT Racing AMG GT3 (Scott Smithson/Bryan Sellers) was 11th, the #13 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 488 GT3 (Justin Wetherill/Ryan Dalziel) 12th, the #63 DXDT Racing AMG GT3 (David Askew/Dirk Mueller) 13th, the #38 ST Racing M4 (Samantha Tan/Nick Wittmer) 14th, the #9 TR3 Racing Lamborghini (Ziad Ghandour/Michele Beretta) 15th, and the #43 RealTime Racing NSX GT3 (Erin Vogel/Michael Cooper) 16th.
Fastest of the two Am Cup cars was the #61 AF Corse Ferrari (Jean-Claude Saada/Conrad Grunewald) in 17th, ahead of the Pro-Am #12 Ian Lacy Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 (Frank Gannett/Drew Staveley) in 18th, the Am Cup #23 Triarsi Ferrari (Onofrio Triarsi/Charlie Scardina) in 19th, and the #88 Zelus Lamborghini (Jason Harward/Madison Snow) in 20th.
Both Zelus cars combined for just 14 laps on track (six for the #191 and eight for the #88), meanwhile the AF Corse Ferrari with its new engine racked up 32 laps.
