Pixar film series opens at San Rafael theater
People of all ages will enjoy the Pixar Family Series at the Smith Rafael Film Center at 1118 Fourth. St in San Rafael.
The series kicks off with screenings of 2008’s “Wall-E,” which shows the adventures of Wall-E, the last robot left on Earth, at 1 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Monday. The showings will also feature a special introduction by Marin resident Ben Burtt, who voiced Wall-E and was the supervising sound editor of the film.
Some of the other films featured in the series include 2009’s “Up” (1 p.m. July 23 and 7 p.m. July 25), 2003’s “Finding Nemo” (1 p.m. July 30 and 7 p.m. Aug. 1) and 2004’s “The Incredibles” (1 p.m. Aug. 6 and 7 p.m. Aug. 8).
