Glam Goodwood racegoers join celebs like Harry Redknapp as they show off eye-catching dresses on the first day
A WHOLE host of famous faces turned out for the anticipated first day of the Goodwood races wearing their finery.
Stars including former footballer Harry Redknapp were snapped suited and booted, while they mingled with other glamorous racegoers at the VIP event, which is also known as the Qatar Goodwood Festival.

Going into the race, Moktasaab was unbeaten in two starts since joining William Knight.
Harry also rubbed shoulders with the likes of former Strictly Come Dancing judge and ballerina Darcey Bussell.
Darcey, 53, was the epitome of class as she wore a fitted monochrome dress with a subtle animal print pattern, black wedges and a large black fascinator.

Elsewhere, TV presenter Laura Woods was photographed smiling from ear to ear as she showed up.
Laura was joined by a female friend as they posed arm in arm before the races officially began.
But it wasn’t just about the celebrity attendees on the big day.
Other revellers also descended on the annual event located just outside of Chichester dressed to the nines and showing off their stylish ensembles.

Many women opted for bright, summer outfits following the UK’s recent heatwave.
Some even went full on matching in patterned dresses with clashing prints and different coloured fascinators.

As well as the colourful array of dresses, there were plenty of frills on show with fashionistas opting for the popular summer trend.
While monochrome outfits were also big, with outfits like polka dot skirt and top combos, complete with big hats and sunglasses to soak up the nice weather.
